Abi Jozi win PPBF Zardad Khan Fight Night belt
Pakistan Professional Boxing Federation (PPBF) Zardad Khan Fight Night concluded successfully with several fighters earning titles in their respective fights at Chak Khanewal.
Pakistan Professional Boxing Federation (PPBF) organized yet another professional level event in the country in which a total of 22 pugilists showcased their strength in the fights contested so as to achieve top in both male and female categories.
Total four (4) fighters of Afghanistan along with eleven (11) male and five (5) female fighters from Pakistan featured in this mega event. Eight male and two females’ fights were scheduled in which four rounds fights were conducted between 12 male fighters.
The main event of super middleweight title between Muhib Ali of Quetta and Abi Jozi Khan hailing from Karachi was scheduled for 10 rounds in which Abi jozi knocked Muhib Ali in the 6th round and claimed the title in full roar.
Naseeb Ullah won over Haseeb Tahir by points in the first fight while Ameen Ullah and Ali Dad marked their wins by taming Muhammad Zaid and Farhan Hassan to the ground by knock out respectively. However, Farhan Raza was disqualified against Zeeshan. Nadir Baloch is also among the fighters who won by knock out in the fight with Shehroz.
Whereas Muhammad Bilal won six rounds by unanimous decision against Asad Ullah.
Girl fights were also contested in which Roma Yousaf is the sole fighter who came out successful with her win over Abida batool by points. Malika and Khalida fought with their full strength and did not give each other any space as the ended the fight in a draw.
PPBF officials appreciated the efforts of the organizers and the promoter Rashid Minhas for the heartfelt hospitality and a great crowd and hoped that more shows will be organized in near future.
PPBF President, Raheed Baloch have also introduced a PPBF Hero Award since 2017 which the federation is awarding in their every show to that local player or a fighter who exhibits the best and most outstanding performance in the event. Also a Star Performer Award for that person who maybe retired as a boxer, referee, judge or a trainer is also awarded by PPBF.
