Hyderabad to lock horns with Rawalpindi in the final of All Pakistan Inter Board Girls Netball C’ship 2018
The 2018 All Pakistan Inter Board Girls Netball Championship will conclude today after the final match which will be played today at Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.
Rawalpindi and Hyderabad are to compete against each other in the final match of the championship as Hyderabad girls crushed Islamabad team on a 12-5 score-line in the first semi-final game and ended the match in their favor making their way into the final stage. The top scorers who cruised the winning team towards the victory in the match proved to be Sohba and Sunam scoring 8 and 4 goals respectively while Faaria Mushtaq’s 3 and Amna Rohi’ 2 points did not held at all to mark win for Islamabad.
Whereas in the second semi-final, Rawalpindi girls dominated the match by beating skillful Lahore team 16-11 through Madhia Muzafar and Nymra their shot sttempts successful with scoring 9 and 7 goals respectively. However, Lahore’s Eman Mehmood 9 baskets with the contribution of 2 goals from Syeda Alia made sure for the losing team to not suffer the loss of the semi-final game as bad as it could have been. And with this win from Rawalpindi side’s, the players proceeded and booked berth into the final of the championship.
ISWA Netball Club Chairman, Iqbal Hussnain, was the chief guest who witnessed the semi-finals played and the final of the championship will now be contested between Hyderababd and Rawalpindi netball teams today.
Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) has organized the three-day All-Pakistan Inter-Board Netball Championship 2018 which has featured a total of ten (12) boards’ teams belonging from various cities of the country which are: Islamabad, Bannu, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Lahore, Sahiwal, Larkana, Abbottabad, Bahawalpur and Gujranwala and Mardan.
