Ijtaba, Adil and Sibbat triumphs in 7th Grand Chess Tournament
7th Grand Chess The Little Master of Lahore Tournament concluded successfully at Laurelbank School System in Lahore.
The 7th edition of Grand Chess The Little Master of Lahore Tournament was organized by Laurelbank School System of Lahore which concluded successfully with Ijtaba Amir, Muhammad Adil Rehan and Ehtesham Ul Haq claiming first spots in their respective categories.
As many as one hundred chess players participated in this mega tournament which had competitions contests in three different age categories of Under-10, Under- 14 years and open category.
In Under-10 category, Ijtaba Amir, Muhammad Arham and Hashim Imran are the players who stand on top three spots respectively. While in Under-14 category, Muhammad Adil Irfan, Muhammad Adil Rehan and Muhammad Sameer managed to secure first, second and third positions respectively. Whereas in Open category, Sibbat Ali, Ehtesham Ul Haq and Hazza Tariq achieved top three positions respectively.
Muhammad Tanveer Dir, Sports UET Lahore, was the chief guest of the event who also distributed cash prizes worth Rs. 60,000 among the winners along with medals and certificates. He also appreciated the Laurelbank School System management for providing a platform to young chess players of Lahore to showcase their intelligence skills.
