Neighbourhood and Karachi Basketball Club in 3rd Essa Lab Basketball Tournament final
Neighbourhood Club and defending champions Karachi Basketball Club defeated their respective opponents to book place in the final of 3rd Essa Lab Basketball tournament which will be played at Arambagh basketball courts in Karachi.
The first semi-final was played between Karachi Basketball and Askari Alphas teams in which Karachi Basketball as always started the game through showing their tremendous performance with players not allowing the rival team to play freely and earned a hard-fought match over Askari Alphas on 38-36. Jazib shone was the top scorer to made his attempts 12 times right into the basket.
In the second semi-final, Neighbourhood Club men outscored Nishter Club boys by 54-47 through talented Hammad ND Khan shot 16 points for the winning team whereas from the losing side, Talha Amjad emergered with 17 points which were lost in vain as his team was not able to make their way into the final of the tournament.
Pakistan Youth Sports Welfare Association (PYSWA) in collaboration with Karachi Basketball Association (KBBA) has organized the 15-day long 3rd Essa Lab Basketball Tournament in which a total of 12 teams and 240 players are seen competing against each other for the top honors in the tournament.
