HQ 4 Corps seals first spot in Army Polo & Tent Pegging Championship 2018
Team 4 Corps and 30 Corps won Polo matches while HQ 4 Corps Team B secured first spot in Tent pegging Pair Lance event of Army Polo & Tent Pegging Championship 2018.
Army Polo & Tent Pegging Championship continue in full swing at Lahore Garrison Golf & Country Club where Team 4 Corps and 30 Corps won Polo matches while HQ 4 Corps Team B secured first spot in Tent pegging Pair Lance event of Army Polo & Tent Pegging Championship 2018.
On the first Polo match of the day, a one sided encounter was seen between Team 4 Corps and 5 Corps teams where both fought hard to rule the day but the match ended in 4Corps favor as they thrashed 5 Corps by 9-3.
The second match started with the same story as 30Crops teams showed great polo skills and didn’t allowed 2Crops to play freely as they overpowered 2Crops by 12-5 1/2.
On the second day of Tent pegging Pair Lance event, pair of Lt Col Saleem Babu & Nk Abdullah Jan of HQ 4 Corps Team B showed outstanding tent pegging skills in peg of 4cm and secured the first spot with 12 points in just 5.75 sec.
Dfr Shah Faisal & Capt Aamir Farooq of HQ 1 Corps Team A seals second position as they finished the Peg (4 cm) in 5.40sec with 4 points.
Nk Zia ur Rehman & Nk Amir Hamza of HQ 11 Corps played marvelously to booked the third place in 5.72 Sec with 4 points.
