WAPDA’s comfortable win over BFC in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League
WAPDA powered over BFC 3-0 while Army and K-Electric played a goalless game in Pakistan Premier Football League 2018 matches which were played at KPT and KMC grounds in Karachi.
12th Pakistan Premier Football League Qila Qasim Bagh, Multan, Punjab Stadium, Lahore, KPT and KMC, Karachi.The spotlight was placed once again on WAPDA after their successive victory over Baloch Football Club as these two teams were up against each other in the first encounter of the day in which WAPDA comfortably won the match by scoring three goals through their talented footballers against the opponent’s no goal at all.
Much of the first half in the game saw no goals from either side as Baloch FC boys managed to resist the attacks and powerful game by WAPDA players but WAPDA was not yet giving up and opened their scoring line through Ahmed Fahim in 41st minute and kept the lead through the game with slamming two more goals by the needed brilliance of their star players Adnan Saeed and Adeel to settle on a one-sided 3-0 win.
Baloch football team exchanged many passes and made several attempts but they all went in vain as WAPDA players’ defence and goal keeping was too strong for the losing team which drove them downwards to lose the game at the end.
While Army and K-Electric team finished the second encounter in a goalless draw as the players from either sides were not able to score even a single goal for their team. Along with both team’s strong defence and blocking strategy the players missed on well given opportunities as well which also became a reason for them to not get to each other’s goal posts at anytime.
K-Electric team coach, Hassan Baloch said,”It was not a good day for us. Our key strikers Murtaza and Rasool missed several chances. We played well but luck did not favor us,”
