Snooker team to leave for Sirilanka
The event is scheduled to be staged in Colombo from March 1 to 8.
A three-member Pakistan snooker team spearheaded by junior international and the winner of the recently-held National U-21 Snooker Championship Mohammad Saqib will leave for Sri Lannka on Feb 28 to participate in the Asian U-21 Snooker Championship.
"Haris Tahir and Abdul Rahim are the two other cueists to represent the country in the event," Pakistan Billiard and Snooker Association (PBSA) president A lamgh ir Shaikh told APP on Thursday. He said that Pakistan cueists had a good track record and were selected purely on merit.
