Sher-e-Punjab Club claims first spot in Faisalabad Gold Cup Kabaddi Tournament
As many as 12 teams participated in this one-day Faisalabad Gold Cup Kabaddi Tournament which successfully concluded with Sher-e-Punjab Club’s win at Government Technical High school D-Ground in Faisalabad.
Divisional Kabaddi Association Faisalabad organized the one-day Faisalabad Gold Kabaddi Tournament which featured a total of 12 teams of different clubs belonging from Punjab in which players competed in -80 kg weight category for which matches were conducted on knock-out basis.
Sher-e-Punjab Club’s team dominated the entire fight against Ittehad Club Chak Jhumra and made then fall to the ground with 29 points against their 21 in total and won the first position in the tournament along with 50,000 PKR for their high achievement. While, Gilani Kabaddi Club and Alam Kabaddi Club stands on the third and fourth spots respectively and also bagged 40,000 and 30,000 Rupees for their hard efforts.
Asif Iqbal Chaudhry, Commissioner and Regional Police Officer (RPO) Ghulam Mehmood Dogar were the honorable chief guests on this event and later distributed repective prize money to the position holders.
