Pakistan's Imran Shahzad prevails in 5 frames thriller as he thrashed Tussle Tanaka of Japan by 3-0 on the first day of IBSF World Snooker Championship 2018 at at Yangon.

Pakistan's Imran Shahzad prevails in 5 frames thriller as he thrashed Tussle Tanaka of Japan by 3-0 on the first day of IBSF World Snooker Championship 2018 at Yangon.

43-years-old, who is one of the most experienced cueists in the circuit as the man in green started off magnificently and didn't allowed his opponent to play freely to sealed the first frame by availing all the opportunities to win it by 65-8.

Imran Shahzad, a member of the bronze medal winning Pakistan team at the Doha Asian Games 2013, continue his aggressive play against  Japanese Tussle Tanaka as Imran displayed fantastic form on the way to win the second by 70-20.

Imran Shahzad, hailing from the city of Lahore, proved too hot for Japanese Tussle Tanaka as he didn't allowed his age fellow to score any point and hit a break of 130 points  to win the last frame with the final score line of 65-08, 70-20, 130(130)-0. 

68 cueists from 31 nations are competing vie for honors in the men’s category. They have been divided in 16 groups and the top three from each will advance into the knockout round.As many as 50 cueists have entered the fray in the master’s category.
