Top seed Aqeel Khan in last-16 of Nayza All-Pakistan Tennis Championship 2018

Top seed Aqeel Khan and Mohammad Abid move into the pre-quarterfinal of the third Nayza All-Pakistan Tennis Championship at the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association courts, Lahore.

On the opening day, of the third Nayza All-Pakistan Tennis Championship 15 matches were played at the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association courts, Lahore. 

Pakistan’s chief tennis player Aqeel Khan moved into the pre-quarterfinal as Aqeel took very little time to outclass Malik Bilal quite easily with the final score line of 6-1, 6-1.

Another foremost player Mohammad Abid who played marvelously as played was also an easy winner against Farhanullah as he won 6-1, 6-0.

PLTA Secretary General Rashid Malik (Tamgh-e-Imtiaz) inaugurated the championship while Pearl Continental General Manager Roy A Kappenberger, top Pakistan players, their families and tennis enthusiasts were also present on the occasion.

Today (Friday), the men’s single pre-quaterfinals will be contested at 9:30 am while the first round matches of the boys U-18 and boys U-14 will be played at 2:00 pm.
