12th Pakistan Premier Football League final phase begins today

Afghan FC, NBP, WAPDA and SNGPL will open the final phase campaigns of 12th Pakistan Premier Football League today at KPT, KMC and Korangi Baloch Grounds in Karachi.

 

The third and final phase of the 12th Pakistan Premier Football League is all set to kick start today which will now be played in Karachi. The league previously had its phases finished in two other cities within Pakistan as well namely: Multan and Lahore.

Now the league will resume with its third and final phase in Karachi in which two matches per day will be played on different venues. Afghan football club, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and Sui Northern Gas Pipe Lines (SNGPL) football teams will all be ready to roll against each other on the first day of the league. In the first match of the day, Afghan FC men will battle with NBP boys while WAPDA will lock horns with SNGPL in another encounter.

Whereas Army, Baloch Football Club, Navy and Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) matches are also scheduled to be played on the first day. A Co-ordination meeting was held in this regard and several team representatives participated in which Head League Development and Media person, Shahid Khokhar represented Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).

Up-till now, at the end of second leg in Lahore, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) team is on the top with 24 points in the point table followed by KRL with 22 and standing on the third spot, is WAPDA with 20 points. While SSGC (18), Navy (17), K-Electric (17), SNGPL (13), Afghan FC (12) and NBP (11) are the other teams among the top ten on the table.
