Abbas and Waqar manoeuvre Nishter Club to victory in 3rd Essa Lab Basketball Tournament
Nishter Club outscored Burns Road Gymkhana by 28-24 on the third day of 2018 Essa Lab Basketball Tournament which is being played at Arambagh Courts in Karachi.
The third day into the tournament saw Nishter Club’s boys blazing through the court against Burns Road Gymkhana’s men and made them suffer the major loss on 28-24. It was quite an entertaining game as the players from both sides were making hard efforts to mark their win in the match but at the end Nishter team got successful and stole the win from their opponents.
Using their various tactics and strategic game play, Abbas Ali and Waqar Zulfiqar’s ten points each and Akbar Saeed’s eight points defeated Burns Road Gymkhana team to wrap things up at 28-24.
Whereas the losing side’s Nauman Ali, Mazhar Ali and Rafay were the players who made their team to lose on s close call at least by managing eight points each.
Indeed the Nishter Club basketball team played with unselfish passing on one end and strong defense on the other providing strong template for the whole team to play with growing amount of efforts and win the game of the day.
Pakistan Youth Sports Welfare Association (PYSWA) in collaboration with Karachi Basketball Association (KBBA) has organized the 3rd Essa Lab Basketball Tournament in which a total of 12 teams and 240 players are seen competing against each other for top honors in the tournament. This 15-day long basketball action will continue till 26th November.
