Aziz and Umair steer PAK CAA and KRL to victory in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League

PAK CAA and KRL defeated KPT and ASM 1-0 in 2018 Pakistan Premier Football League which is now in its third phase being conducted in Karachi.

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PAK CAA) and Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) opened their campaign with a win of 1-0 over Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and Ashraf Sugar Mills football club (ASM) through hard fought efforts.

PAK CAA standing on the 11th at the latest score sheet after the second phase of the league which ended on last Friday, the players clung on for a hard-fought win to improve their team standing.

Saeed Abdul Aziz scored the solidarity goal for PAK CAA in the 11th minute which proved as a winning goal for the team because despite the opponents having enough time to equalize as well as to score above PAK CAA, they did not make it to their goal post and all their attempts were made to go in vain as boys from the winning team defended their goal post well.

KPT team after giving away one chance to the winning team then on began their defensive game as boys from the winning team several times came close to the losing team’s goal post but KPT men did not allow them to score anymore either through their goal keeper or the defender.

Whereas in the second encounter, KRL and ASM boys got frustrated in the first half before KRL’s Umair Ali broke the deadlock in the 35th minute through brilliantly finding the back of the opponent’s net.

However, ASM FC side made many impressive saves as the goal keeper along with the team was at a constant threat of losing the first match of the last phase in the league and had to work hard to overcome the only goal by the winning team but ASM men failed to kill the game off, and they were punished with a 1-0 loss at end.
