13th Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo C’ship successfully concludes
Army, WAPDA and HEC stands at first 3 spots in 13th edition of Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship which was held at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Board in Islamabad.
Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) with the support of AF Powertek Engineering FZC, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Ltd., CE&MD New City Housing Society, Korean Embassy, Islamabad and special patronage of DG PSB organized the 13th edition of Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo championship for Senior and Junior fighters as well as the Kids competitions.
A total of 1700 athletes, 200 coaches and managers, 50 x technical officials participated in this 7-day long championship. This championship was the biggest ever competition in which also featured 84 x clubs, all provinces including Gilgit Baltistan, FATA, Islamabad, Pakistan Army, Air Force (PAF), WAPDA, Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Railways fought for the top honors in the championship.
Pakistan Army, WAPDA and HEC are the top departmental teams who managed to stand at the top three positions as the fighters belonging to their respective department demonstrated incredible skills and won gold, silver and bronze medals in various category contests conducted throughout the championship.
Emerging Team Trophy went to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) while Mr. Waqar of WAPDA was declared the emerging player in the championship. Naqash Hamdani of Army was also awarded with the emerging Female player in the championship.

2. WAPDA 2nd position (4 Gold, 11 Silver and 11 Bronze Medals, Total 226 Points)
3. HEC 3rd position (1 Gold, 6 Silver and 8 Bronze Medals, Total 117 points)
