Punjab Police beat Nepal 5-0 in Olympian Afzal Manna Memorial International Hockey Tournament

Punjab Police beat Nepal 5-0 in on going 1st Olympian Afzal Manna Memorial International Hockey Tournament 2018 at from 6th to 16th November at Johar Town Hockey Stadium, Lahore.

1st Olympian Afzal Manna Memorial International Hockey Tournament 2018 is continues in full swing at Johar Town Hockey Stadium, Lahore. The mega event is organized by Afzal Manna Hockey Club from 6th to 16th November. 

On the second day, Punjab Police beat Nepal in first match of Pool B. Punjab police showed great skills to overpowered Nepal Hockey team by 5-1 as they didn’t allowed Nepalese to play freely.

Earlier, Chamber of Commerce Sialkot (COCS) defeated Wapda by 4-2 in the opening encounter of International Hockey Tournament.

Pakistan Railways thrashed UAE by 5-0 in the second encounter of the day to mark their first win the pool matches.

8 teams are participating in the eleven days tournament which is divided into two pools.

Pakistan Customs crushed Sri Lanka Army team by 2-1 at Johar Town Hockey Stadium, Lahore. Today, Sri Lanka Army team will face Nepal at 11:00am while Wapda will face U.A.E team at 9:00 am.
