District Gujrat Men & Women Powerlifting C’ship 2018 concludes successfully
As many as 50 powerlifters participated in the first edition of District Gujrat Men & Women Powerlifting Championship which concluded successfully in Gujrat.
District Gujrat Powerlifting Association (DGPLA) successfully organized the very first edition of District Gujrat Men & Women Powerlifting Championship in which as many as 40 male and 10 female powerlifters compete in order to win top honors in the championship.
My Gym, Afzal Health Club and Lala Musa Health Club stands at the top three on the score table respectively.
Muhammad Asim belonging to My Gym was declared with the strongest man title as he lifted 595 kgs weight while Muhammad Kamran of Champion Gym Gujrat won the best powerlifter award. Ammara Shabbir of also My Gym with her appreciatable efforts was crowned with the strongest women of Gujrat title by lifting 350 kgs.
Chief guest MPA Saleem Sarwar Joora along with Gujrat Press Club President Raja Taimoor and Punjab Powerlifting Association’s Secretary, Aqeel Javed Butt distributed medals, certificates, trophies and cash prizes among the top achievers and participants of the championship.
Organizing committee members District Gujrat Powerlifting Association (DGPLA) Chairman, Haji Iftikhar Ahmed Shakir, President Haji Din, Secretary, Muhammad Waqas Bhatti and joint Secretary Faisal Butt were also present on the occasion.
