3rd TDCP Thal Jeep Rally to begin from November 16th

The TDCP Thal Jeep Rally is day rally comprises on two stages of the rally track. There will be several Observation posts along the Rally Route. All of these checkpoints will be clearly marked on the route and the exact number and location will be disclosed at the Drivers’ Meeting prior to the Rally.

The registered Service Vehicles, if any, will also follow the Rally Route. However, the service vehicles will be allowed onto the Rally Route only after all competing vehicles have started on the section. The organizers will strive to keep ordinary traffic off the Rally Route, but participants must be cautious of any other traffic on the Route.

TDCP Regional Manager Asher Iqbal said that more racers could join the list till November 9th that is the last date of registration. Those, who fail to get registered till the dead line would have to pay Rs. 5000 fine to join.

Formal proceedings of the event will begin on November 16th at Multan Circuit House in a conference where drivers will have discussions on how to negotiate with the race track. And later on the same day they all will join the qualifying round to finalize the order in which they would join the race. On November 17, women car racers and stock car racers will test their skills on the track of 80-kilometre.

The race of prepaid vehicles would be held on November 18th and a prize distribution ceremony would be held the same evening at Faisal Stadium in Muzaffargarh. The race would begin from Changa Manga mound in Muzaffargarh and will conclude at the same point.
