SNGPL and NBP win in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League

SNGPL and NBP down K-Electric and PAF in the 12th edition of Pakistan Premier Football League which is being played at Punjab Football Stadium in Lahore.

 
SNGPL and K-Electric teams met each other in the first match for the day in which SNGPL stunned the progressive K-Electric side by making them bow on 3-0 score-line.   

SNGPL boys played in their full compact and worked hard together with their best blocking game as well as with balanced attacking. Abdul Samad opened the tally for the winning team by brilliantly netting the goal in the first half on 22nd minute to which K-Electric team players were not able to level the lead till the end of the first half and even they were not able to score at all in the entire game.  

Abdul Wasay 80th and Touseef Ahmad 87th then on found their grip on the ground at the opponent’s side and further landed the ball in 80th and 87th minute of the game making it clear to K-Electric team to defensively suffer three goals loss.

The result was not good for -Electric but their progress was continuing till the end. They had chances to do scores as well as the control of the ball but the winning team kept hitting their back of the net, their chances decreased from less to none when the final whistle blew. 

To this defeat K-Electric coach Hassan Baloch said “Luck did not favor us today and it really hurt me,” He said they had several of their key players on the injury list. “There are a lot of injuries and it’s an issue. It has been unfortunate for us so far but I hope we will bounce back in Karachi round,” he added. 

The win took SNGPL to 13 points and left K-Electric at 17 points from total 11 matches.

Whereas NBP and PAF teams played against each other in the second encounter of the day in which NBP shockingly made a 2-0 win. Dawood Javed and Sher Ali built a two-goal advantage inside the first 20 minutes as they both turned their impressive attempts which shot right in the opponent’s net.  

It was a lucky day for National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) football teams as they incredibly crushed their opponents by not letting the players score at all in the game.
