Lal and Khan prompt SSGC to win over K-Electric in Pakistan Premier Football League 2018

SSGC marks win against K-Electric by 2-0 in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League which is now being played at Punjab Football Stadium in Lahore.

SSGC and K-Electric teams were in battle with each other in the yesterday’s match in which SSGC recorded a last minute win by defeating the opponents on a 2-0 score-line.

Players from both sides rushed off their lines to prevent any attempts made to secure goals for either side. They had enough time to pick spots as the other side fired attacks but players did their best with blocking and deflecting the efforts of each side. It looked like a sailing game of a goalless draw throughout the match as in the first half time none of the team footballers were able to find the back of the net.

Both the teams were leading the match well on protecting each other’s goal posts but the complexion of the game changed when SSGC boy Lal, ran in riot against K-Electric players and picked up the game momentum by opening the scoring for the first time into the match in the 88th minute as the ball arrived into opponent net.

Relentless pursuit of the ball saw SSGC boys gain control after that first goal and even though they did look shaky back in the first half but their first goal made the K-Electric boys get into pressure as they seemed shot after their efforts letting another goal from the opponent team pass their goal post through Mehmood Khan who made no mistake with the finish in the injury time.

The goals from the winning team came in the dying moments not allowing K-Electric team to make a comeback as they came out undone and could not properly recover for the remainder of the game.

Wilson of K-Electric was the sole player to receive a yellow card warning at the first half time into the game. The match was played under the supervision of match Refree, Adnan Anjum and Refree Assessor, Muhammad Sharif.
