Navy holds Afghan FC in a goalless draw in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League

Navy and Afghan football teams play a 0-0 draw match in Pakistan Premier Football League 2018 which is being held in Punjab Stadium in Lahore.

 

Navy and Afghan teams were up against each other in the first match played yesterday in which team players from either side ended the game in a thrilling 0-0 draw till the end of the scheduled time.

Both the teams started into the game determined with gaining victory for their side but did not get successful as the boys were not able to net the ball past each time. The match was a thrilling performance from both sides as even though creating several chances for securing goals they missed clear opportunities but on better note, players also did not let each other’s opponent team to score at all in the game.

Rizwan of Navy football team was the sole player to get a yellow card warning for a foul play at the dying moments of the game.

Fabulous saves were seen by both side’s goalkeepers even though the footballers of each team pressed themselves at the ball trying to take possession to get a goal opportunity but not once got successful to claw at the target.

Navy and Afghan team players enjoyed a bulk of possession for the ball but could not break down the hard-working play of the opponents as the players were seen making a number of great tackles and withstanding a constant barrage of attacks.
