Hamza and Ashad annexes City and Shah Willayat Schools to win in Inter-School Basketball Tournament
The City School outclassed Beaconhouse 31-16 while Shah Willayat School overpowered Army Public School 21-18 in Inter-School Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament which is being played at Arambagh Court, Karachi.
The City School team started the game in O Levels category showing tremendous performance with their players not allowing the rival team to play freely to win the one-sided encounter by 31-16.
The top-scorer for the winning team was Hamza and Usaman who each dubbed nine points and with the support of Soorain who shot 4 points and together they earned their team the victory for the match.
As for the losing team, Beaconhouse (North Nazimabad), Kenneth tried his best to get the win but failed with ten points. While another star player for their side was Ammar who dipped two points but even with their performance they were not able to keep their foot on pedal and lost their chance to of winning the match.
In the second match for the same category, Shah Willayat School’s team showed flawless performance as they beat the opponent Army Public School team on 21-18. It took 15 points from Ashhad Hussain and 12 points from Hasnain with Ali’s 2 points who then became the top scorers cruising their team towards victory in the game.
As for the team lost, Danish made it to the basket 12 times and Fahim marked 2 points but could not get their team to win.

O-Level competitions:
The City School (PAF) beat Beaconhouse (North Nazimabad) on 6-4.
A-Levels competitions:
Nixor College defeated Roots College 65-6 and made their way to the semi-final stage of the tournament.
