Army's scintillating win over Karachi United to reach the final of National Women Football C'ship 2018
Army thrashed Karachi United team 10-0 in the second semi-final of National Women Football C’ship 2018 in the match played at MTFA Ground in Lahore.
The Reds dominated throughout the game to go at top by thrashing opponent Karachi United football team on 10-0 score-line.
Swaiba scored thrice for the winning team and Roshan’s 4 goals with one goal each from Khadija, Kiran and Nina also on target led the team towards their win in the semi-final match.
Roshan opened the scoring after 17 minutes into the game through a brilliant target on the opponent’s post. Army was half way their win with leading at 5 goals before the break of half time and managed their other 5 goals in the remaining 45 minutes of the match.
Army players never looked in danger as they kept dropping goals one by one with not just marking goals but stunning assists as well. Abiha’s two brilliant assists helped Roshan and Kiran to slam 2 more goals for their win.
The losing team did try to improve their play in the match but they face their worst possible game against Army girls who made them unable to grab away a single goal for their side.
