PAF and WAPDA to play opening matches in Lahore Phase of 12th Pakistan Premier Football League
The 2018 Pakistan Premier Football League’s first phase will now begin in Lahore from tomorrow at Gaddafi Soccer Stadium.
Pakistan Premier Football League made a return after more than three years long gap which is featuring 16 teams that are seen battling against each other in the matches played in the first phase in Multan.
The first phase of the league will now have matches in Lahore from tomorrow at Gaddafi Soccer Stadium and will continue till 9th of November.
In Lahore phase as well the league will have two matches a day and on the opening day, PAF Football Team will be up against Ashraf Sugar Mills in the first match while the second match will be played between WAPDA and Navy football teams.
Pakistan Air Force and WAPDA football teams are among the strongest teams so far in this football event as they stand on the second and third spot respectively on the final point table after the Multan phase games. Whereas Navy has its place on the 6th spot and Ashraf Sugar Mills is at the 13th.
By organizing this mega event of football, Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) had given more teams and players a chance to be a part of Pakistan top division.
