Atik, Irfan and Wasif to participate in Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship 2018
Atik, Irfan and Wasif will have fights in their respective weight categories in the 13th Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship which will be staged from November 2nd to 8th in Islamabad.
Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) jointly with Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and Embassy of Republic of Korea is organizing the 13th edition of Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship which will be commencing from 2nd November and will be conducted till 8th of November in Islamabad.
Fights for both male and female fighters will be contested in the event in four different age-groups which are divided in both male and female categories, making a total of 8 different weight categories.
Three male athletes of Team Kabirians are selected after the hard trials in the Team of South Punjab Taekwondo Lovers for the 13th Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship.
Mohammad Atik Ali will have fights in Children Male category of -25 kg while Irfan Ijaz will contest in Cadets Male category of over 61 kg weight. Whereas in Juniors Male Wasif Ali Dhudi will participate in -55 kg weight category.
It is the second edition of the mega Taekwondo event after the successful conduction of Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship 2017.
