Pakistan Taekwondo team won two gold medals in SAF Games 2016.
USA based Taekwondo player Yasmin Maryam khan and Asim Ijaz won gold medals for the country in the South Asian Games 2016.
These two medals pushed Pakistan Gold Medal Tally to ten. The 16 year old Yasim lived up to the expectations. and secured a gold medal in South Asian Games 2016.
Asim Ijaz of Army also secured a gold medal in men's event. Other Taekwondo players, Naveed khan and Ayesha Noor claimed Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
