Fahad Khawaja crown the first RTI All Pakistan Open Table Tennis Championship 2018
Fahad Khawaja and Kainat Malik clinched men’s and women’s titles of the first RTI All Pakistan Open Table Tennis Championship 2018 at the Pakistan Sports Board Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar.
In the men’s final, Fahad Khawaja, a silver medalist of the South Asian Games, produced a skill full game as he didn’t allow his opponent Syed Obaid Shah of Army to play freely. KPK’s Fahad Khawaja continue his aggressive play though out the match against the one from army to won the one sided affair by 4-2.
KPk’s Kainat Malik, the bronze medalist of the Asian Table Tennis Championship, overcame Iqra to win the women’s Singles title of the first RTI All Pakistan Open Table Tennis Championship 2018.
At the Pakistan Sports Board Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s players Iqra,Kainat and Nimra successfully overpowered Sara, Eshal and Mehwish by 3-0 to win the women’s team event title in the the first RTI All Pakistan Open Table Tennis Championship 2018.
In Men’s team event Islamabad’s Abdullah,Habib and Umer played marvelously as he defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s players Waqas, Shoaib and Meshal by 3-0 to win the title.
Chief Commissioner RTI Azmat Hanif graced the final ceremony as chief guest and distributed the prizes among the winner of the championship in which over a hundred players from all over the country participated.
