Al-Qaim FC to compete against Karwan FC in the final of Islamabad Peace Football Tournament 2018
Al-Qaim FC white washed Gangal FC 1-0 and confirms spot in the final along with Karwan FC in Islamabad Peace Football Tournament 2018 which is being played at NIH Al-Qaim Football Ground Chak Shehzad, Islamabad.
The second semi-final of the tournament was played between Al Qaim Football Club and Gangal Football Club in which Gangal Club’s players saw the match taken away from them as the winning team scored the solidarity goal for their side to book place in the final of the game.
From the very start, team players launched severe attacking and defence game as the match did not see any goals except the one from the winning club; AL-Qaim whose player Ehsan grabbed the spotlight coming off with a stunning goal on a free kick and tore through the dreams of the losing team taking the place in the final of the tournament. This goal from Al-Qaim club’s player will be remembered as most notable effort due to which the team is now hopeful to crown themselves with the victory of the tournament.
Whereas, the loser team failed to turn their attempts into goals and was not able to score a single goal throughout the game. Refree Chaman Khan supervised the match.
Tomorrow, Al-Qaim Football Club will be up against Karwan Football Club in the final of Islamabad Peace Football Tournament 2018.
