51st Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Golf Championship tees off today
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Golf Association is organizing the 51st edition of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Golf Championship which is scheduled to be played from 28th to 39th September at Piffer Golf and Country Club in Abbottabad.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Golf Association (KPGA) in collaboration with Piffer Golf and Country Club, Abbottabad is organizing the 51st edition of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Golf Championship which will feature top notch golfers from across the country. The championship is featuring top golfers in six different categories.
Eligible golfers who can participate are stated below:
1. Amateurs having handicap 12 and below
2. Senior Amateurs having handicap 14 and below
3. Subsidiary – HCP 13-18
4. Ladies Amateurs having handicap 24 and below
5. Veterans and
6. Boys Category A and B
This championship is an important golf event as it being conducted regularly on year basis by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Golf Association (KPGA) and this time Inayat Ullah Yousufzai of Peshawar would defend his title of Bolton Cup in Amateurs Men category while Taimour Khan, also from Peshawar, would defend his title of Amateurs Men Challenge and Amy Qin from Islamabad would defend her Amateurs Ladies Gai Cup title.
Tournament Director Lt. Col. Syed Imtinan Ul Hassan Kazmi said that for the first time the championship is being organized in Abbottabad adding that all the arrangements have been completed to conduct the championship successfully.
