Asiam Ul Haq & Santiago in Chengdu Open 2018 semis
Asiam Ul Haq with partner Santiago Gonzalez thrashed pair of Mischa Zverev & Matthew Ebden by 2-0 to advance into the Semifinal of Chengdu Open 2018 in Chengdu, China.
Pakistan foremost tennis player Aisam Ul Haq along with Santiago Gonzalez from Mexico edges out duo of Matthew Ebden by 2-0 in just 47 minutes to confirm berth into semifinal of Chengdu 2018.
Both the pairs started the match on a positive note as they gave hard time to each other and offered no opportunities but 4th seeded PAK-MEX pair broke the 5th service game of Australia-German pair to enhance the lead to 5-4 and sealed the set in the next game by 6-4 in 28 minute battle.
In the second set hot favorite Asiam along Santiago registered an easy victory in just 19 minutes. PAK-MEX pair comfortably broke all the serves of opponents as it was a cakewalk for the 4th seeded pair while the unseeded Australia-German pair had no answer to their fast and fury aces and other shots as Asiam and Santiago won the set by 6-0.
