2018 Pakistan Premier Football League face two draws on the opening day

PAF and K-Electric on 0-0 while WAPDA and PAK Army by 1-1 draw both the matches played on the opening day of the on-going Pakistan Premier Football League 2018 at Qila Qasim Bagh in Multan.

 

Pakistan Air Force competed with K-Electric football team in the first match of the day in which neither of the team was able to score a single goal despite creating several chances at against each other’s goal post.

Both the teams started into the game determined with gaining victory for their side but did not get successful as the boys were not able to net the ball each time ending the game as a 0-0 draw. The match was a thrilling performance from both sides as even though creating several chances for securing goals they missed clear opportunities but also did not let each other’s opponent team to score at all.

Whereas the second match of the tournament was a fair game play by WAPDA and PAK Army football teams. WAPDA’S Ahmed Faheem opened the tally for his team through slamming the ball into the opposite net at 33rd minute into the game which resulted in WAPDA leading the first half till the end of it as the opponent team players were unable to rouse themselves to equalize the score-line in the first half.

WAPDA’s side was protecting their one-goal lead as the second half started and for a good long time they did remain successful but PAK Army boys started to threatened the opponents when they equalized the score-line through Ansar Abbas in dying moments of the match. Shahbaz Yonus was the sole player from PAK Army side to get a yellow card warning while Muhammad Bilal of WAPDA was warned twice for a foul play each time. 

KRL and NBP Football Teams will be seen against each other in the third match of the championship today at 08:00 PM while Afghan FC will battle with Baloch FC Noushki in the fourth match today at 10:15 PM in Qila Qasim Bagh, Multan.
