Saqib, Haris, Asif, Qadir in main round of PSA 4th Punjab National Senior Squash championship 2018
Sheikh Saqib, Haris Iqbal, Asif Khan Khalil and Abdul Qadir defeated their respective opponents to book berth into the main round of PSA 4th Punjab National Senior Squash championship 2018 at Punjab Squash Complex Lahore.
On the last day of qualifying rounds, 4 matches played where Sheikh Saqib, Haris Iqbal, Asif Khan Khalil and Abdul Qadir defeated their respective opponents to book berth into the main round of PSA 4th Punjab National Senior Squash championship 2018 at Punjab Squash Complex Lahore.
In the first qualifying match, Sheikh Saqib of WAPDA thrashed Abbas Shaukat from KPK by 3-0 with the final score line of 11-9,11-2,12-10 in 36 minutes struggle.
Haris Iqbal of KP overpowered Moin Rauf PB as he didn’t allowed player from Punjab to freely and book berth into the main round with the final score line 11-8,11-2,11-2 in just 19 minutes.
In 3rd qualifying match of the day Asif Khan Khalil (KP) faced fair bit of resistance against Salman Zeb of AMRY but young one from KPK managed to overpowered Salman Zeb with the score of 14-12,11-5,11-6 in 23 minutes battle.
In last and toughest match Abdul Qadir and Zeeshan Gul tried hard to get the commanding position but SNGPL’s player showed marvelous performance as he defeated KPK player by 3-2 with the final score line of 6-11,13-11,11-5,5-11,11-4 in 38 minutes struggle.
