Zubair Hussain seals the win in 31st All Pakistan Bolan Open Golf Tournament
Zubair Hussain etched his name as winner in the Ameture category of 31st All Pakistan Bolan Open Golf Tournament which was being held at Golf Club Quetta.
Balochistan Golf Association (BGA) in collaboration with Golf Club Quetta and Pakistan Army organized the 31st All Pakistan Bolan Open Golf Tournament sponsored by Quetta Serena Hotels.
Total 155 golfers participated in 7 different categories which are stated below:
1. Amateur (Handicap 13-18)
2. Amateur (Handicap 12 below)
3. Veterans Amateur
4. Senior Professionals
5. Junior Professionals
6. Main Professionals and
7. Services Officers
In Amateur (Handicap 13 -18) category, Nisar Ali fought hard to earn the first spot whereas Talib Hussain and Major Altaf Hussain of Quetta Golf Club are the second and third position holders. In Amateur (Handicap 12 below) category, Zubair Hussain of PAF Golf Club Islamabad sealed the first gross prize. However in Veteran Amateur, Quetta Golf Club’s Muhammad Ayub named the first slot.
Senior Professionals category ended up with Muhammad Akram from Lahore claiming the first position and Imdad Hussain of Lahore Garrison Golf and Country Club winning at second position. Margalla Greens Golf Club Islamabad’s Syed Bilal Hussain Shah finished at the top spot in Junior Professionals category while Asad Khan of PAF Golf Club Islamabad stood second.
Whereas in General Officers category Major General Asif Kaleem gathered first spot and Major General Shahzad Naeem Qureshi remained second.
Islamabad Golf Club’s star golfer Muhammad Shabbir showed real skill and hardwork accomplishing the victory of Bolan Cup.
The All Pakistan Bolan Open Golf Tournament included a total price money of 3 million PKR. Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa who was the respectable chief guest of the tournament who gave away prizes to the winners of all categories.
