Ghauri Football Club propels into the final of IFA Jashan-e-Azadi Football Tournament 2018
Ghauri FC makes it to the final stage beating Akbar FC by 3-0 in the first semi-final of the IFA Jashan-e-Azadi Football Tournament 2018 which was played in Jinnah Sports Complex, Islamabad.
The first semi-final was played at the Jinnah Sports Complex Islamabad in which both Ghauri and Akbar qualifying teams competed against each other that witnessed Ghauri FC’s comfortable 3-0 victory over Akbar FC.
With both teams searching for their very first points, both team players started on a good pace in the first half. Ghauri side’s young fielding showed astonishing performance netting the ball twice in the first half and once in the second half that proved as a winning goal.
Akbar football club was occasionally impressive in moving the ball as its star performer Daniyal missed a one on one opportunity to make it one nil for Akbar club at the 10th minute. Despite coming close a number of times, Akbar FC football players were not able to find the back of the net. Therefore final victory for the game was celebrated by Ghauri football club on 3-0.
The second semi-final of the tournament will be played between PAK Sporting Football Club and Islamabad Academy today at 04:30 PM in Jinnah Sports Complex, Islamabad. The final match of the IFA Jashan-e-Azadi Football Tournament 2018 will be played on Sunday.
