All Sindh Defence Day Pakistan Boxing Tournament 2018 begins today
Sindh Sports Board is organizing a two day boxing tournament which will be held at Ustad Ali Mohammad Qambrani boxing stadium in Karachi.
Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) in collaboration with Sindh Sports Board (SSB) in the honor of Defence Day is organizing All Sindh Defence Day Pakistan Boxing Tournament.
Pugilists from all across Sindh will be participating in the tournament. Whereas competitions will be contested only in Senior Class (under 40) in 10 different weight categories which are: 49 kg , 52 kg, 56 kg, 60 kg, 64 kg, 69 kg, 75 kg, 81 kg, 91 kg and +91 kg.
Following are the participating teams:
1. Sindh Rangers
2. Hyderabad
3. Mirpurkhas
4. Shaheed Benazirabad and
5. Larkana and Sukkur
The organizers will be providing accommodation, travelling and daily allowance to outstation boxers and officials. Semifinals and final fights in the two day tournament will be held tomorrow. Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Haroon Ahmed Khan will be the respectable Chief Guest at the occasion to distribute prizes among the winners.
