PCA to hold Defence Day Cycling Championship on 6th September
The Punjab Cycling Association (PCA) is organizing the Open Cycling Championship (Men & Women) to celebrate the Defence of Pakistan Day on Sept 6 in Lahore.
The Punjab Cycling Association (PCA) is holding Open Cycling Championship (Men & Women) to celebrate the Defence of Pakistan Day on Sept 6 in Lahore.
The event will be participated by riders from all over the province and a number of events will be contested at the cycling velodrome.
The events to be contested include: 1-km Time Trail, for Junior Cyclists 4.30pm; 1,000 Metres Sprint for Junior Cyclists 4.45pm; 1-km Time Trail for Senior Cyclists 5pm, 1000 Metres Sprint for Senior Cyclists 5.15pm; 500 Metres Time Trail for Female Cyclists, 5.30pm and 1000 Metres Sprint for Female Cyclists 5.45am.
Idris Haider Khawaja, secretary, Punjab Olympic Association, will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony, while chief guest for the closing ceremony would be Chaudhry Kamran Amin, president, Punjab Cycling Association, who will distribute medals among the winners.
Organising Secretary of the Championship will be Qasir SaddiqueBhatti and Chief Judge will be Talha Babar.
