Pakistan defeat Philippines by 3-0 in Asian Games Squash
Squash players Tayyab Aslam, Israr Ahmad, Amaad Fareed lead Pakistan to overpower Philippines by 3-0 in the ongoing Asian Games 2018 at Jakarta, Indonesia.
4th seeded Pakistan squash team thrash 9th seeded Philippines by 3-0 as Tayyab Aslam, Israr Ahmad, Amaad Fareed lead Pakistan to win in the ongoing 18th Asian Games at Jakarta, Indonesia.
In the first match, Tayyab Aslam proved too hot for Garcia Robert Andrew as the top seed of Pakistan started brightly and won the first game with the margin of 7 points. Twenty-two years old from Lahore continued his aggressive play to won the second game by 11-3. Tayyab face fair bit of resistance against Filipino player but he successfully shut the doors by taking the third game at 14-12 in just 38 minute battle.
In the second match, Israr Ahmed produced a skill full game to further enhance the lead at 2-0 as he overpowered Pelino David William by 3-0 in 25 minutes.
In the last match, Fareed Amaad took just 26 minutes to thrashed Begornia Reymark by 3-0.
Pakistan will next face top seed China in their fourth Pool A match.
