4th seeded Pakistan squash team overpowered Japan by 2-1 to win their first match of Pool A in the ongoing 18th Asian Games at Jakarta, Indonesia.
In the first fixture, Japan put a shiny start as Tsukue Ryunosuke defeated Muhammad Asim Khan by 3-0 in 36 minute battle.
In the second match, Tayyab produced a skill full game to equalize the lead at 1-1 as he overpowered Japanese’s Endo Tomotaka by 3-0 in 46 minutes.
In the important last match, Israr Ahmed took just 22 minutes to thrashed Kobasyashi Ryosei by 3-0.
Pakistan will next face 12th seeded Nepal in their second Pool A match.
