PAK Sporting FC and PEF register victories in the IFA Jashan-e-Azadi Football Tournament 2018
PAK Sporting club won against Zeeshan club while PEF defeated Isb FC in the matches played on 15th August in the IFA Jashan-e-Azadi Football Tournament 2018.
The Jashan-e-Azadi Football Tournament organized by Islamabad Football Association (IFA) is underway in full swing where a total of 30 football teams from Islamabad are vying to settle which club has bragging rights in the capital.
PAK Sporting football club defeated Zeeshan club by 2-0 in the match played at the T & T ground on 15th August. Haseeb got his team off to an early start be netting the first goal for PAK Sporting club in just the 3rd minute of the match. Asad got his club in an even more comfortable position by extending their cushion over Zeeshan FC to 2 goals, he scored in the 28th minute of the match. The scoreline remained unchanged thereafter as neither team was able to convert their chances. The match ended 2-0,
In another match held on the same day, PEF was able to edge Isb FC by 1 goal, the match concluded with the scoreline of 1-0.
The event is due to reach completion on 20th August, the finals are scheduled to be held at Jinnah Stadium, Sports Complex.
