Haris Qasim, Uzair Rasheed win Hong Kong Junior Open
Haris Qasim won the under-17 title while Uzair Rasheed secured under-19 category runner up spot in Hong Kong Junior Open in Hong Kong, China.
Harris Qasim won the Hong Kong Junior under-17 squash title played in Hong Kong as Harris overpower Korean player Lee Min Woo in a very well contested match to win the title with the final score line of 11-7, 11-6, 11-4.
In the under-19 category, top seed Muhammad Uzair lost to Chung Yat Long of Hong Kong 11-5, 11-3, 4-11, 1-11, 9-11 in the final. Uzair managed to secured under-19 category runner up spot in Hong Kong Junior Open in Hong Kong, China.
Azhar Muhammad Amir Amirul of Malaysia defeated Farhan Hashmi 11-4, 9-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9 in the match for the third position.
Punjab Squash Association (PSA) sponsored the three junior players Uzair Rasheed, Farhan Hashmi and Harris Qasim for this mega event in which 128 players from countries like Hong Kong, India, Australia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Jorden, Thailand, China, Egypt, Canada, USA, Chinese Tai Pai participated.
