Pakistan seals win against Myanmar in the 2018 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship
WAPDA-Pakistan defeated Asian World Club-Myanmar in their opening match with 3-0 in the 2018 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship being played in Myanmar
WAPDA team representing Pakistan defeated Myanmar in their preliminary match with a score of 3-0. Khan Aimal from WAPDA (Pakistan) Volleyball team scored 22, most points and lead Pakistan towards the victory.
In the first round Pakistan lead the match with 26-24 at a set duration of 0:27 while in next two, Pakistan Volleyball team made successful shots and won both sets by 25-19 and 25-16. Pakistan scored 76 and Asia World Club (Myanmar) scored 59 points in total. Jehan Murad also contributed in the win by making 15 points in the match.
WAPDA team along with Myanmar and Turkmenistan are placed in Group D and WAPDA (Pakistan) will play against Binagar (Turkmenistan) today at 04:00 PM.
This tournament serves as the Asian qualifiers for the 2019 Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) Volleyball Men's Club World Championship, with the champion team winning the ticket for the World Championship.
