10th NBP National Snooker Ranking Championship from 5th August
Pakistan’s top 20 cueists will feature in the 10th NBP National Snooker Ranking Championship schedule to be held form 5th – 14th August at NBP Sports Complex, Karachi.
The 10th NBP National Snooker Ranking Championship is schedule to be held form 5th to 14th August under the supervision of Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association at NBP Sports Complex, Karachi.
International cueist Asjad Iqbal will defend his title while cueists from Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad will participate in the championship.
Former International champion Muhammad Asif, Former National Junior champion Muhammad Naseem, Muhammad Bilal, Babar Masi, Ahsan Javeed, Hadar Ali, Sultan Muhammad, Zulfiqar A Qadar and Haris Tahir will also feature in the ranking championship.
All the players will be divided into pools according to their category from where top 2 will move into knockout round of 16 while for the trophy player will compete on 14th August.
For the last couple of years, International cueist Asjad Iqbal and the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Ranking Snooker Cup title have been synonymous and this proved true again last years when he carved out convincing 8-4 frames victory over Shahid Aftab in the final of the ninth edition at the bank’s sports complex to clinch the crown for the fourth time overall.
