Pakistan’s # 1 Aqeel Khan thrashes Zohaib in EAM & SEM Tennis Championship
Pakistan’s Tennis ace Aqeel Khan outplayed Zohaib Gul from Hyderabad by 6-0, 6-0 to win his first round of men’s singles in the 2nd EAM & SEM Memorial National Tennis Championship at Karachi Gymkhana, Karachi.
The 2nd EAM & SEM Memorial National Tennis Championship continue in full swing at Karachi Gymkhana, Karachi. More than 200 players are participating in different events including men’s singles, ladies singles, junior’s u-18, boy’s u-16, u-14, u-12 as well as under-10 girl’s competition, men’s doubles and senior’s 35-plus doubles.
In Men’s Single first round top seed and hot favourite Aqeel Khan registered an easy victory when he toppled Zohaib Gul from Hyderabad in straight sets with the final score line of 6-0, 6-0. It was a cakewalk for the experienced international player Aqeel and Zohaib had no answer to his fast and fury aces and other shots.
In other matches, Munir Ashiq, Tahirullah Khan, Zeeshan Ashraf, Robin Das, Yousuf Khalil, Farhan Altaf, Abdul Haider, Izhar Ifikhar, Waqas Malik, Muhammad Shoaib and Muhammad Abil defeated their respective opponents to move into the second round of men’s singles.
