Omega Sports to face off Arambagh Club in NBP Basketball Tournament Final
Arambagh Club and Omega Sports outplayed their respective opponents to book berth in the final of 13th NBP Cup basketball tournament at Arambagh courts, Karachi.
Teams from twelve well known basketball clubs are participating in the NBP Cup basketball tournament where Omega Club and Arambagh Club succeed to book berth in the final at the Arambagh courts.
In the first semifinal, players from Omega Club put a shiny start and they didn't allow Neighbourhood Club to score easily as Kenneth Johnson scored 13 points, Mubassir Shah scored 12 points,Abdullah khan scored seven points and Zaheer scored six points to register win against four-time title winner Neighbourhood Club by 48-29.
In the most toughest match of the tournament Arambagh Club edges past Askari Alphas by 47-41. For Arambagh Club’s Kafeel Ahmed scored 14 points, Jahanzeb 9 points and Raj Kumar scored 7 points. For Askari Alphas Syed Bakhtiar scored 21 points and Shameer scored eight points but could not manage to get win for his team.
In the earlier matches, One Unit Club beat Osman Club 48-36 while Nishter Club beat Youth Club 60-43.Omega Sports will face off Arambagh Club in NBP Basketball Tournament Final at Arambagh courts, Karachi.
The teams participating in the tournament have been divided in two groups.
Group A: Bounce Club, Omega, One Unit, Karachi Colts, Usman Sports, Neighbourhood.
Group B: Nishtar Club, Arambagh, Askari Alfaz, Malir Trojan, Clifton Crossover, Karachi Youth.
