Aisam- Rojer start Wimbeldon 2018 campaign with a win

Pakistan tennis ace Aisam Ul Haq along with Jean Julien Rojer put a shiny start in wimbeldon 2018 campaign as they edges out duo of Marc Lopez & David Ferrer of Spain in straight sets by 3-0 to book berth into round of 32 of Wimbeldon 2018.
In the opening set, the match was leveled on 6-6 as both the pairs held their serves. In tiebreak the ninth seed pair broke the serves of Spaniards in different intervals to win the set by 7-6(3) in 46 minutes struggle.
In the 48 minutes battle of second set, both the pairs gave each other tough time as the unseeded pair save four break point to make it 1-2 as well as they broke the next serve of opponents. Aisam and partner came back strongly and broke the next serve of Spaniards and continued to put pressure to take full control over the match and won the set by 6-4.
In the super set Aisam and Rojer got the early break when they broke the very first and third serve of Spaniards pair and then continued to play confidently to win the set by 6-4 in 38 minutes.
Today Aisam and Rojer will face unseeded pair of British brothers Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski at 3:30 pm.
Aisam won five titles last year, but he lost in the pre-quarter-finals in Wimbledon last year. This year he celebrated 300th tour-level win of his career during Davis Cup Group I tie in February.
