Peshawar to host First-ever Dwarf Sports’ Festival on 29th June
District Sports Office, Peshawar is organizing first-ever Dwarfs Sports’ Festival in which cricket, football, archery, badminton, tug-of-war and other games competitions will be held at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on June 29.

District Sports Officer, Jamshid Baloch announced that cricket, football, archery, badminton, tug-of-war and other games Competitions will be held in the first-ever Dwarfs Sports’ Festival at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on June 29.
Besides, prominent movies and television artistes, Zardad Bulbul and Sardar Marikhi, dwarf persons from Peshawar, Mardan, Karak and other districts will participate in large in the festival.
For the success of this first kind of event, the Sports Office has constituted different committees and all other preparations have been completed. Talking to media District Sports Officer, Jamshid Baloch along with artiste Zardad Bulbul,said that he is making all efforts for the promotion of sports activities in the district and provide equal opportunities to both male and female players in which he said he had achieved success.
He said that last month, he had successfully organized first Transgender Sports Festival and now is holding sports festival for dwarfs in Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium Peshawar.
On this occasion, dwarf artiste Zardad Bulbul appreciated the step taken by the District Sports’ Office for provision of healthy sports’ activities for dwarfs, which in past were never taken by any organization.
