Hammad, Noor, Zeeshan move into semifinals of Borneo Junior Squash Open

Hammad khan, Noor Zaman and Zeeshan Zeb move into semifinal of their respective events in Borneo Junior Squash Open at Sarawak Squash Center, Sarawak, Malaysia.

On the third day, Under-19 player Zeeshan Zeb trashed Dinesh Marvindvarmma of Malasyia by 3-0. Young Pakistani produced the skillfull game as he didn’t allow Malaysian player to play freely in all the games to win the match with a score line of 11-4,11-5,11-2. Zeshan Zeb will now face top seed Chun Yat Long of Chain in the semifinal round at 9:30 pm (PST) on 23rd June. Both Pakistani Shahid Zohair and Khan Muhammad Azmatyar will face each other for 9-16 places in the semifinal round.  

In the under-17 event, Hammad khan defeated Jacob Paul Nervyn Paul of Malasyia 3-0.Pakistani player put a shiny start as he won the first game with a margin of 10 points. In the next two games Malaysian player tried hard to win as young Hammad faced fair bit of resistance against Malaysian player but the match ended in Pakistan’s favor with the final score line of 11-1,11-6,11-8. Hammad will now face second seed Tay Clifford of Malaysia in the semifinal round at 8:00 am (PST) on 23rd June.

In the under-15 event, Noor Zaman played marvelously as he outplayed Eugene Oon of Malaysia by 3-0 to move into the semifinal round with the final score line of 11-5,11-8,12-10. Tomorrow Noor will face top seed Chan Gregory of Australia at at 8:00 am (PST) in the semifinal round.
