Pakistan Sailing Squad Featuring in Asian Sailing Championship
An 11-member Pakistan sailing team is participating in the 17th Asian Sailing Championship from June 20-25 at Jakarta National Sailing Centre, Indonesia.
The opening ceremony was held at Jakarta National Sailing Centre on 19 June while the competition race will continue from 21-25 June with a closing ceremony on same evening.
Pakistan Sailing Federation (PSAF) spokesman Tofique Ahmed told that 250 sailors from more than 15 countries is participating in the event. The team is accompanied by two officials, Commander Akram Tariq as a coach while Commander Iftikhar Malik as a manager.

Squad: 470: Khalid Hussain, Rehmanullah
Laser Standard: Najeebullah Khan, Mohammad Tanvir
Laser 4.7 (girls): Hanna Fatima
Laser 4.7 (boys): Ali Bin Nasir, Mohammad Awais.
RS:X: Qasim Abbas, Tariq Ali
Optimist: Abdullah Akram, Mohammad Ahmed
