Hamza Amin wins Austrian National Open Golf Championships
Amin earned the "Masters" title with a score of 68 69 65 71 (-15) at the Austrian National Open to win by a shot at Klagenfurt-Seltenheim Golf Club in Kärnten.

Hamza Amin started in the National Open Championship with rounds of 68 and 69 strokes. On the 3rd day, Amin put the competition in his favor with a fabulous daily best of 65 strokes and went with seven points ahead of the pursuing duo Steinlechner and Rath in the final round.
The fourth and final round began optimally for the pro with two birdies on the first five fairways before the par 4 of 6 was the first impact loss of the day on his card. A red entry(birdy) on the 7th hole gave some support but on the following course he took a double bogey as he came with 36 strokes to the turn.
Meanwhile, trailing Amin, Maximilian Steinlechner shone with four birdies and a bogey on the front nine and thus reduced his deficit almost in half to 4 strokes behind Amin. Amin promptly got another double bogey on the back nine, Steinlechner meanwhile recorded a birdie on the same fairway to reduce the lead to a single stroke.
At the final holes, Amin delivered a duel of the extra class. Amin took advantage of the par 5 of the 14 to make up for two punches with an Eagle. Steinlechner noted "only" a birdie and fell back. Hole 16 passed both players with Birdie, before Steinlechner reduced with one more red entry on the 17 the backlog in one fell swoop. At the end Steinlechner and Amin recorded a par, so that the winner with a total score of 273 (-15) strokes was fixed - Hamza Amin !
On all four match days of the Austrian National Open Championship, the conditions on the par 72 course of the Klagenfurt-Seltenheim Golf Club were perfect.
