Punjab Open U-15 Football Championship in July
Sports Board Punjab in collaboration with Punjab Football Association will organize the Punjab open under-15 football championship in which players from all 36 districts of Punjab will participate in the third week of July.
Sports Board Punjab in collaboration with Punjab Football Association will jointly organize the first Under-15 Punjab Open Football Championship here in the third week of July. Secretary Sports Punjab said the inter-district, inter-divisional competitions will be held in the Punjab Open Football Championship where talented players will be selected from the championship to represent Punjab in the National games.
The players from all 36 districts of Punjab will be given equal chance to feature in this championship while players will be selected on merit through open trials.
President Punjab Football Association Sardar Naveed Haider said the upcoming championship will be a very beneficial event for football. Sports Board Punjab and other associations will also collaborate for the growth of other games in the province, he added.
He said that the top players of Punjab Open U-15 Championship will be selected for All-Pakistan U-15 Inter-Division scheduled to be held in Sept this year.
