Ramadan Sports Gala Badminton enters in Semifinal stage
Badminton stars Qari Adnan, Haroon, Afnan and Xubair outplayed their opponents in their respective events to move into the semifinals of Ramadan Sports Gala at Hayatabad sports complex, Peshawar.
Ramadan sports Gala is continues in a full swing under the supervision of Directorate of Sports of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar. A lot of players from all the districts of KPK are participating in the badminton events in which Qari Adnan, Haroon, Afnan and Xubair outplayed their opponents in their respective events to move into the semifinals of Ramadan Sports Gala.
In Boys under-17 Qari Adnan played marvelously as he comfortably defeated Imad Khalil of Peshawar by 21-8 , 21-11 to book their berth in the semifinal of Ramadan Sports Gala while Haroon got walk over from Zain in Men’s Singles.
In Men’s doubles Afnan and Xubair Shah (Bannu) faced fair bit of resistance against Arbab Noman and Umar Khan (Pesh) but Afnan paired with Xubair displayed extraordinary show of game to win the match by 2-0 with a score line of 21-14, 21-16 and move into the semifinal round.
